Status: Uncommon to locally common on or around red cedar.
Flight: Early March to early May, and mid-June to late July.
Distribution: Upson, Monroe, Talbot, Taylor, and Meriwether. Probably found in any county that has a
lot of Red Cedar.
Wingspan: 25 to 30 mm.
They commonly take nectar from plum blossoms.
The "Olive" Hairstreak is presently classified as a subspecies of the Juniper Hairstreak.
