This species probably exists in small, isolated colonies and is a rare find in this part of Georgia. One was
seen in May, 2004, in Spalding County by Eric Beohm.
Flight: begins in May.
Habitat: Open areas with flowers on the side of hills with decidous trees. There is often a wetland nearby.
Wingspan: 1 13/16 in (male) to 2 1/16 in (female).
